Game Modes
Hytale will offer various game modes, although not all will be available from day one of early access. The initial focus will be on sandbox exploration mode, along with creative mode and mod/server support.
🗺️ Exploration Mode (Sandbox)
This is the core of Hytale at launch. Players can explore a procedurally generated open world, full of unique biomes and zones.

- Procedural world: Each playthrough generates a unique world with biomes, dungeons and secrets
- Survival: Resource gathering, crafting, combat and base building
- Dynamic events: NPC encounters, hidden lairs, sudden challenges
- Co-op: Play solo or invite friends to your world
- Farming: Crop cultivation and resource management
🎨 Creative Mode
Included from day 1, it allows players to build freely without survival restrictions.

- Flight: Free movement across the map
- Infinite blocks: Access to all available blocks and items
- Instant placement: Quickly place or remove blocks
- Explosions: Tools for terrain sculpting
- Blockbench: Integration with modeling and animation tools
📖 Adventure Mode (Narrative Content)
The team has clarified they won't include major narrative content yet; their initial priority is polishing the sandbox base. However, Hytale's world (Orbis) has a story, factions and mysteries that could be explored in future updates.
🎮 Minigames
Given Hypixel's legacy (famous Minecraft minigame server), Hytale is designed to support competitive minigames on servers.

- Official minigames: Won't be available at early access launch
- Community minigames: From day 1, servers can create their own minigames
- Tools: Optimized engine with control over cameras, assets and mechanics
🌐 Multiplayer
From its conception, Hytale is designed for multiplayer gaming. You can join community servers like Hyzen to enjoy customized experiences and share the adventure with other players.
